First for Pets, a professional pet care company, is seeking outstanding overnight pet/house sitters to join our team. If you possess reliability, trustworthiness, physical fitness, and the ability to care for various domestic pets, we want to hear from you.
At First for Pets, we specialise in providing top-notch pet care services, and we are currently looking for overnight pet/house sitters who can stay in client homes in the areas of Lichfield, Sutton Coldfield, Burntwood, Walsall, Rugeley and surrounding areas.
As an ideal candidate, you should be prepared to travel and cover bookings in any or all of these locations.
As an overnight pet/house sitter, you will be responsible for local bookings that can range from overnight stays to three-week assignments.
Our clients have diverse properties, including small homes and large country houses, providing a unique and exciting variety of environments.
You will have the flexibility to be away from the property for up to 6 hours per day (to go home, etc.), and you have the freedom to choose which housesits you want to accept.

Requirements for the overnight pet sitting position:
• Reliability and Trustworthiness: We value responsible individuals who can be relied upon to provide excellent service to our clients and their beloved pets.
• Valid Driving License and Your Own Car: Having your own transportation is essential for this role as you may need to travel between different client homes.
• Experience with Animals: We require several years of experience living or working with dogs, cats, and other animals. Your expertise will ensure the well-being and comfort of our clients’ pets.
• Cleanliness and Tidiness: Our clients’ homes are their sanctuaries, and we expect our pet/house sitters to maintain exceptional cleanliness and tidiness during their stays.
• Criminal Background Check: All applicants must be able to pass a criminal background (DBS) check to ensure the safety and security of our clients’ homes and pets.
Earnings for this position are circa £210 per week (£840 – £930 per month). Please note that sometimes, during off-peak holiday periods, there may be days or weeks without work in certain areas. However, during busy periods, you’ll have the opportunity to earn more.

Detail-Oriented: This role involves following individual pet care plans and potentially administering medication, hence attention to detail is of the essence.
Driving Skills: The role requires travelling to different locations; thus, owning a vehicle and being able to drive is essential.
