Welcome to First For Pets Doggy Day Care, where we redefine the meaning of pet care with love, attention, and a whole lot of fun! We provide a comfortable home environment for your furry friends while you’re away at work, busy with shopping, or enjoying a day out with loved ones.
Our day care service transforms into a playful outing for your dogs. They’ll be introduced individually to a small group of their peers in a welcoming atmosphere that mimics the comfort of home. Our resident dogs, Jasmine the Black Labrador and Poppy the Toy Poodle, along with one of our friendly Pet Carers will greet them, showing them around and introducing them to our other guests.
Our service isn’t merely about babysitting your dog; we provide an engaging mix of playtime, affection, relaxing naps, and oodles of attention. Your dog gets to explore our designated ‘doggy zone’, where sniffing around and frolicking is all part of the day’s adventure. This ensures your pet gets the right amount of exercise and stimulation while under our care.
When your dog is ready for a break, we have cosy spaces for them to nap and enjoy a delicious snack. We appreciate how much you miss your dog, so we’ll keep you updated throughout the day with photos and videos.
At pick-up time, you’ll find your dog a little tired but happy, and content. If they happen to get a bit dirty during their fun-filled day, don’t fret. We’ll make sure they return home clean!
Our dedication to pet care has earned us a DEFRA Animal Boarding Licence with a 5-star rating, meaning we’ve met the highest standards required for safety and welfare of our guest dogs.
Before confirming a booking, we encourage you to visit us with your dog to ensure we are the perfect fit for one another.

We are happy to accommodate requests outside of these hours for an additional fee.
Our goal is to make your dog feel part of our family. However, to ensure a peaceful environment, we can’t accept dogs that are unruly, aggressive, excessively bark, are destructive, or not fully toilet trained (excluding young puppies). We welcome dogs of all shapes and sizes, provided they are friendly, have been spayed/neutered, and are fully vaccinated.
Please note, availability is limited as we maintain a maximum capacity of 8 friendly dogs per day. This allows us to provide individual attention and prevents overwhelming or over-stimulating our guests.
Kindly be informed that certain licence conditions prevent us from accepting dogs under six months old and un-neutered males for daycare. But don’t worry, we do offer puppy playdates, walks, and home visits as alternatives.
We also offer a collection/drop-off service upon request, subject to additional fees.
